and photography exhibit opening reception!
Panny Mayfield, award-winning journalist and photographer, will lead a Q&A discussion of her book, LIVE FROM THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA, from 5-7 PM on Thursday, December 14th at the Delta Blues Museum. The book features rare images and rich stories spanning decades of the blues scene in the Delta.
The event will also serve as the opening for an accompanying LIVE FROM THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA photography exhibit, featuring images from the artist’s own collection–the exhibit will be on display at the Museum through February 2018.
