| Blue Front Café Celebrates 75 Years and running |
 (BENTONIA, MS) – The Blue Front Cafe juke joint on Hwy 49 (107 W Railroad Ave.) will celebrate 75 years at their Anniversary Party Sept 15-16 in Bentonia, Mississippi. There will be live music, plenty of cold beer, select merchandise, a special guest, and more.
Friday Sept 15th the music kicks off at 6pm followed by proprietor/owner, the legendary Jimmy Duck Holmes at 7pm, and then Sunpie and the Louisiana Sunspots at 8pm On Saturday Sept 16th the lineup includes Red Meat Rhetoric (4:30), Libby Rea Watson (5:30pm), 19th Street Red (6:30 pm), Jimmy Duck Holmes (7:30 pm), and The Delta Get Down (8:30 pm). There will be a variety of Jimmy Duck Holmes’ albums and CD’s for sale including his latest, Tell Everybody. Special, one-of-a-kind items will be for sale made by SKINNY Design’s. T-Shirts and sweatshirts will be on sale. There will be an Auction on a few items and all monies go toward the cost of the Anniversary Party. Please remember, this party is free to all fans but it runs on donations only so those are gladly accepted. Come made a few memories at this historic blues joint and it’s 75th anniversary. |
