OXFORD: Oxford Bourbon Festival w/blues

The Inaugural Oxford Bourbon Festival will take place March 30-31, 2018 in Oxford, MS as a benefit for the Exchange Club Family Center of Oxford.

The main event of the festival is the Grand Tasting on Saturday​,​ March 31 at the Lyric Theater in Oxford. Bourbon Distilleries from Kentucky, TN, AL and MS will be represented. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample pours of Bourbons and to also sample small bites of of food created by local chefs and restaurants.

There will be ​LIVE BLUES MUSIC as part of the weekend festival, featuring R. L. Boyce, Lightnin’ Malcolm and Randy Ferguson. In addition, there will be a BourbonTalk titled: Bourbon Bootlegging & Blues hosted by Greg Johnson, Director of the Ole Miss Blues Archives. He will interview bluesman, Little Willie Farmer about the blues, moonshining and bootlegging.
