PAINT THE TOWN 2019 PUBLIC SCHEDULE
Monday September 30, approximately 1pm – 6pm – Artists start painting. Feel free to
drop by to lend a helping hand or simply enjoy the spectacle.
Locations where painting will be going on during the week are:
– 2nd St. between Yazoo & Issaquena, across from Regions Bank – main big wall of
the event.
– The Arts Alley between 2nd and 3rd Streets and Delta and Yazoo Avenues and the
open areas (across from Nellie May’s and behind the Hooker, Squeezebox and
Delta Digs hotels) that lead into the alley from Delta and Yazoo
– South wall – facing the railroad track – of Ground Zero Blues Club
– CARES Animal Shelter, 1645 Desoto Ave (Hwy 49, near the intersection with
Hwy 61) – check for actual dates and times painting will be taking place here.

in Paint Memphis. Painting will be going on all day, and Sunday, but the public event is
from 4-10pm on Saturday at #1688 – 1730 Lamar Avenue (in and around the historic
Lamar Theater.) There will be over 100 artists, live bands, DJs and food trucks.
Monday October 7, 10am – 6pm, most of the visiting artists will be finishing up their
painting in Clarksdale.
