We’re celebrating “SUMMERTIME BLUES” with several other blues

venues in our area—
Tuesday, July 23, 7 PM at the RAC—Mississippi Blues historian Scott Barretta 
presents a blues seminar.    Sponsored by the Mississippi Humanities Council,
this event is free.
Wednesday, July 24, 6-7 PM    Visit the Howlin’ Wolf Museum, West Point, MS
and then head over to Anthony’s Good Food Market for music from Mookie Wilson’s
All Star Band.    (No charge at the museum, but donations are appreciated.
Reservations recommended for Anthony’s.)    If you’d like to car pool or follow us
to the HW Museum, call 328-2787.
Thursday, July 25 –Catch some great R & B with Deacon Jones & the Late Night at 
Sounds of Summer at the Riverwalk, sponsored by Main Street Columbus & The Link
Friday, July 26, 7 PM at the RAC— Delta Blues men Cadillac John and Bill Abel
create real old style Blues magic on the Omnova stage.  $10 advance, $12 at door
Saturday, July 27, 10 AM-Noon–Bill Abel teaches you how to build your own cigar 
box diddley bow.   $10–materials included.    Please sign up by  2 pm,Thursday, July 25

Saturday, July 27,  8 PM-Midnight      Some great Cajun/Creole food and rockin’ blues
by Sipsey Fires   (cover charge at the door)
