Saturday Delta Hot Tamale Festival Activities include: (Free Admission)
- 9:30 a.m. – Chuck Jordan Hot Tamale Parade (named in memory of our late Mayor Chuck Jordan)
- 9:45 a.m. – Welcome by Mayor John Cox
- 10:00 a.m.
- The Official Blessing of the Hot Tamale
- Presentation of the Hot Tamale Royalty
- Hot Tamale cooking competition begins
- Festival music begins & throughout the day with regional & local musicians performing on several stages. (Schedule TBA)
- Noon – Miss Hot Tamale Contest
- 2:00 p.m. – Hot Tamale Eating Contest
- Morning and evening – “Tales of the Hot Tamale” – will be spun on our front porch in Stein Mart Square (times to be announced). (Free Admission)
