Mississippi Action for Community Education, Inc. (MACE) is pleased to announce the
11th annual Delta Dialogue, to be held Friday, September 18, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Washington County Convention Center in Greenville, MS. The Dialogue brings together public officials, civic leaders, business, and the general public to discuss contemporary policy issues facing residents of the Delta. Previous Dialogue conferences have covered important topics such as heritage tourism, education reform, wealth creation, and youth development.
This year’s Dialogue will continue our discussions on heritage tourism, especially the challenges and opportunities facing small Delta communities in building viable tourism programs. Through the Delta Dialogue, we want to help rural communities take advantage of the tourism trend and reap the economic and social benefits. As local leaders, public officials, business persons, and educators, you do not want to miss this informative dialogue.
