Per Scott Barretta: “This Sunday local blues artist Ben Payton is starting a new weekly performance series at Tallahatchie Flats, located just miles north of Greenwood and adjacent to the churchyard where Robert Johnson is buried. The shows are scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Ben will be accompanied by a regular bassist and drummer, but he encourages others to come and sit in!”
