A discussion of “King Biscuit Time” radio’s history, personalities, and legacy featuring speakers, audio-visual components, live music, with Terry Buckalew and an appearance by Sonny Payne. (223 Cherry Street, 10:30am) (Special guests TBA.) After, you can attend a live broadcast of Sonny’s “King Biscuit Time” at the Delta Cultural Center’s Visitor’s Center, 141 Cherry Street.

3. Sonny Award Presentation of “Sonny” lifetime achievement to James Cotton, Thursday
4. Live Music/Educational Event
Friday, Oct. 7, Visitor’s Center “A Tribute to Robert Johnson (1911-2011)” featuring music by Marcus Cartwright. There will be a brief overview of Robert Johnson’s life and music, his time in Helena, and a performance of his songs by Cartwright.
5. Exhibit “The Biscuit is Back” will be shown in the Visitor’s Center. This will be installed the week of September 26 and unveiled by Friday, Sept. 30.
