You can make a special gift this year for needy blues musicians. Dorothy Moore is partnering with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the Blues Foundation in Memphis and the Central MS Blues Society. For every $1 given she will match $1 up to $1000. For your gift you can send a check ASAP payable to CMBS “for needy blues artists” in the memo line. Thrivent will give another $750. Let me know if you want a receipt for your records.
We must receive your gift no later than December 19, 2011. Or come to Hal and Mals for Blue Monday, 8pm, to give your donation. Several MS blues musicians have received help from past funds.
