JACKSON: Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame inductions 2017

The MISSISSIPPI MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME will hold
its 2017 Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at
River Hills Club, 3600 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, from 6:30 pm. to
9:00 p.m.
The Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame is a non-profit
organization founded to promote and celebrate Mississippi music
and musicians and to educate people about Mississippi’s music
heritage. Each year the MMHF inducts Mississippians into the Hall
of Fame who have made a notable impact on the global music
industry.
This year’s inductees include:
R&B/Motown Artist G. C. Cameron
Classical Pianist Bruce Levingston
Pop, Hip Hop and R & B Artist Brandy Norwood
Song Stylist and Pianist Ora Reed
Music Producer and Malaco Vice President Gerald "Wolf"
Stephenson.
Posthumous inductions include:
Bluegrass and Country Artist Pete Pyle
Jazz Trumpeter Dalton Smith.
The public is invited to enjoy a free evening of music –
