SAT., 5/23 – LAS VEGAS, NV – Memorial service in Las Vegas (where he died).
WED., 5/27 – MEMPHIS, TN– Wednesday, May 27, King’s remains flown to Memphis; musical tributesand speaking will be held at W.C. Handy Park on Beale Street not farfrom B.B. King’s Blues Club. At approximately 12:45 p.m., theprocessional starts at Beale and Second streets, making its way downBeale Street before turning onto B.B. King Blues Highway. Afterward,King’s body will be taken to Indianola, Mississippi, which Kingconsidered his hometown.
FRI., 5/29 – INDIANOLA, MS – On Friday, May 29, a public viewing will be held at the B.B. King Museum in Indianola from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
SAT., 5/30 – INDIANOLA, MS– The funeral services will be held at the Bell Grove M.B. Church inIndianola on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. At approximately 4p.m., a procession will be led from the church to the Museum, and therewill be a private graveside service for family and friends at 5 p.m.
