MOVED FROM USUAL JUNE DATE! Great authentic, Mississippi blues line-up every year. Also visit the Highway 61 Blues Museum while you’re in town. (Click link for info.)

Forest, Mississippi
Annual festival — 8am-3pm. EVENTS: Magnolia Hall Line Dancers,  Rooster Crowing Contest, Cheerleaders performing, Wing Eating Contest, and 5K Run/Walk & fun run beginning at 8am. ENTERTAINMENT: Cross Roads (Blue Grass), Mickey Wooten (Country Gospel), Uncle Pug Syrup Meal Band (Blue Grass), Pilgrim Family (Gospel Blue Grass), The Houserockers (BLUES… former house band at the legendary Subway Lounge), and Rowdy South (Southern Rock). While you’re in Forest, be sure to check out the MS Blues Trail Marker there!
