Fri-Sat, 6/12-13 – new BAD APPLE BLUES  CLUB (former Club 2000 location on Issaquena Ave, downtown) opens with live blues music, featuring the N MS Hill Country blues stylings of Sean “Bad” Apple — details coming soon!

Southern roots music hero Paul Thorn records his gospel-infused “Don’t Let the Devil Ride” record with the Blind Boys of Alabama, the McCrary Sisters, Bonnie Bishop, and other special guests. Recording sessions take place at the legendary Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis, Preservation Hall in New Orleans, Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, and then back home to Tupelo, Mississippi. Airs Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m.
 

Paul Thorn’s Mission Temple Fireworks Revival
Paul Thorn and his band, along with Grammy award-winning gospel icons and special guests join together for a night of gritty, soulful, and raucous Southern gospel music. Recorded live at the historic Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tennessee. Airs right after Paul Thorn: The Making Of… at 7:30 p.m.
